Owner or Operator (Workplace)

The entity responsible for regulated areas, PPE, exposure monitoring, signage, and recordkeeping at workplaces handling DecaBDE or PIP (3:1).

Obligations include: establishing regulated areas, ensuring PPE, conducting monitoring by May 2025, posting multilingual signage, maintaining five-year records, and making records available to EPA.

A facility owner processing PIP (3:1) must establish regulated areas, provide N100 respirators, complete monitoring by May 2025, and retain records for five years.
